What’s the Clearance Needed for Sliding Doors?

For all over our Patio Doors:

Leave a ½” clearance on all sides (including above) Allow ¼” expansion gap for each panel at the jamb Track system should sit on a perfectly flat substrate—no dips, no humps

We always recommend shimming and laser leveling the opening before install. Improper prep leads to panel binding or water issues.
