Field-Level Installation Steps (Overview)

1. Prepare the Opening

  • Verify rough opening dimensions match shop drawings

  • Ensure the opening is square, level, and plumb

  • Apply waterproofing or flashing as needed (especially for exterior applications)

2. Install the Track System

  • Position and secure the bottom track per the system layout

  • Use shims to level the track and maintain consistent reveal

  • Anchor according to structural requirements (concrete, wood, or steel substrate)

3. Install the Head and Side Jambs

  • Set the head track and side frames in place

  • Check for square at each corner before anchoring

  • Seal all joints with recommended construction sealant

4. Place the Panels

  • Insert sliding panels into the frame one at a time

  • Confirm rollers are aligned and seated properly on the track

  • Test for smooth operation during and after each panel is placed

5. Adjust Panels and Hardware

  • Fine-tune panel alignment using roller height adjustments

  • Check interlocks, stacking alignment, and clearances

  • Install handles, locks, and any integrated hardware

6. Final Sealing and Testing

  • Seal perimeter joints (especially at threshold and head)

  • Test full slide operation from both sides

  • Verify lock engagement and weatherstrip compression
